The first thing to note is to avoid starvation. Yes, I am talking about the thing that you often love to do. You can still treat yourself from time to time with your favorite comfort foods.
You should avoid fully depriving yourself of everything. Besides, if you're eating healthy meal most of the time such as 80% of the time, the occasional ice cream cone won't hurt you.
You should be focused on a permanent lifestyle change so as to eliminate the rebound effect where your weight goes up and down similar to a yo-yo.
And now you might want to ask within yourself...."But what if I want to lose belly fat at a faster rate"? If you lose tummy fat too rapidly that definitely means you're not getting the necessary nutrition your body needs to be healthy, or you’re simply starving yourself like many people do. That is worse no matter how much weight you burn.
In addition, weight loss that happens rapidly can severely destroy your metabolism and cause you to gain weight faster. If you happen to receive emails asking questions such as "how can you lose 30 pounds in 2 months"? BEWARE. These are unhealthy promises and that are not realistic. Instead, you need to have patience with yourself and allow yourself time.
The main key to an effective and healthy weight loss plan is one that consistently cuts out the saturated fats, involves exercise at least 3 days/week or 30 minutes a day, and increases the intake of protein and fiber. Definitely yes, it does take time!
You should also practice small frequent meals because digestion actually helps boost up your metabolism. (Be sure you choose the RIGHT kinds of foods). So ignore those crash diet plans that you have tried in the past, and include starving yourself, eating only two meals a day, or completely cutting out all carbs and fat.
The truth is, we need some fat and some carbs in our bodies. The problem comes in when we eat too much from these types of foods. They will not become bad for you if you consume them only in moderate amount. Bear in mind that you can still eat the foods you love, with moderation as the essential key.
