If you are reading this article then you probably have tried dieting before now, well you are about to discover a simple, cheap and effective way to dieting. Sticking to a diet plan requires willpower and lots of determination as you will probably know if you have tried it but here is something different.

To start with I said it was simple, cheap and effective what am I talking about its plain old water yes water natures finest, in bottles or at the turn of a tap.

If you are carrying a few pounds more than you should and are fed up of the usual diets try drinking plenty of water. About 8 pints a day, a day I hear you say! yes a day or even try building up to that amount, which ever way suits you best, but at least give it a go.

The body stores water say in belly, hips thighs etc and if you are not drinking plenty water after all we are all guilty of this then the body is storing it up and it's just lying around doing nothing apart from giving you a weight problem that you probably have been spending time to rid yourself of those extra pounds. No matter how hard you try it just will not shift the excess weight.

At the start you will be visiting the bathroom quit often but if you persevere once the water has flushed out all the impurities in your body and keep on doing this then you should start to see the pounds coming off.

In truth what you are really doing is tricking the body into thinking it will be getting a constant supply of water so it doesn't need to store it. What you will be doing is flushing your system out and getting rid of all the impurities so you should feel a difference in a short space of time.

Don't drink too much in a short space of time, try to measure quantity's and try not to get thirsty so drink regularly through the day. If you exercise then drink more.

With regards your food intake, why not try to cut your meals by half and what I mean by half is if you have three or four meals a day then you will be eating six or eight times a day only in smaller quantities. That should also help quicken the process up.

Your metabolism will kick in and it won't feel like the usual diets. As long as you eat plenty fresh vegetables and watch the amount of food you are serving yourself, between the water and cutting you meals by half you will wonder why you haven't tried this before.
