The Human papillomavirus, more commonly known as HPV, is one of the most wide spread sexually transmitted infections, or STI. It can be passed from person to person through sexual contact or even by a sneeze as it affects both the mouth and the throat.

Usually and not surprisingly, people don’t even know when they get infected or what the source of the infection is because symptoms can be very different from person to person.

There are different strains of the actual virus, with a number of them causing genital warts which become seriously uncomfortable, although not life threatening. The warts themselves look like small swellings near or on the genitals, and vary in size or shape. In some people, the immune system cannot fight off the virus, and the warts get bigger, or even multiply.

Most cases of HPV infection are benign and are not dangerous to the point where life can be threatened, but in some cases, it can lead to cervical cancer in women. The areas where cancer cells reside are usually found in the same areas which get infected in the first place (the genital areas – throat and tongue).

Although the incubation period of the virus cannot be ascertained, and symptoms make their presence known a few months from the point of actual infection, the good news is that the virus is steadily fought off by the body’s own immune system over the course of a few years.

Those who wish to improve this timeframe can easily turn to the Gene-Eden family of products which includes Gene-Eden formula VR-101 as well as its sister line, Gene-Eden for Safer Sex formula SX-101. Both are antiviral, all natural, herbal remedies designed to fight various latent, chronic viral infections.

The SX-101 formula helps ensure a better and safer sex life by adding an additional layer of protection against HPV. While the scientists at polyDNA agree that condom use is still necessary, it must be remembered that HPV is transmitted through any sexual, skin-to-skin contact. Thus, condoms do not give 100% protection from the virus. The Gene-Eden family of products contain six broad range, antiviral herbs that have been shown in studies to reduce the numbers of latent HPV virus within the body.

Vaccines are already distributed and used to counteract the effects of the virus, but the body itself and its natural fighting champion - the immune system - represent the safest and most effective means of combating the virus.

The Gene-Eden family of products adds an additional layer of prevention by helping to boost the immune system which, in turn, helps the body to fight off the HPV virus.

polyDNA, a biotechnology company, developed and markets the Gene-Eden family of products including Gene-Eden formula VR-101 and its sister product, Gene-Eden for Safer Sex. Both are antiviral, all natural, herbal remedies that target the most common chronic viruses, including EBV, CMV, HSV, VZV, HBV, HCV, and HPV.
