Late afternoon energy loss is most likely related to eating habits. When we fill our morning with simple carbohydrates and sugars, our blood sugar levels spike causing the release of insulin. This releases serotonin which has been associated with fatigue.

If you consume high quality fats in nuts, protein and other sources first thing in the morning will combat fatigue and will leave you ready to work hard throughout the day.
