If you love electric guitars, do you find that you are never satisfied? Guitar magazines, websites and new bands always leave you wanting the next big thing? If you are into electric guitars you will probably always be on the lookout for the next upgrade to add to your wish list of electric guitars.
For a true electric guitar player, one guitar just never seems like enough does it? Each make and model has their own sound, their own nuances and playing style. The Epiphone Les Paul just isn't the same as the Gibson no matter how close it really does appear. If you are the type of person that notices these subtleties between guitars, you'll probably be on the lookout for another guitar to add to your collection this Christmas.
The problem with playing and owning several guitars is always budgeting. Your dream guitar will no doubt be in the two to three thousand pound range but can you really afford it? Will the compromise model really sound much different to your existing guitars? Your best bet is to head down to your local guitar shop and take a look at the latest deals and hear the latest guitars demonstrated in person so that you can judge which guitar is right for you.
Take Fender guitars for example. Within just this one manufacturer you can purchase guitars from as little as 350 pounds (approx) right up to 2,500 pounds and 3,000 pounds (approx) for the likes of Eric Clapton signatures and Pink Floyd£s Dave Gilmour signatures respectively. With this variety of price and availability in just Fender guitars at most local guitar shops, you can see why it can take so long to come to a decision as to which will be your next guitar!
When it comes to learning guitar there always seems to be a natural progression in not only ability, but also the quality of the guitars being played. You may learn on an old second hand acoustic guitar before taking the plunge and buying your first budget electric guitar and low wattage amplifier combo. From there, if your guitar playing continues you'll probably look at an upgrade which offers better sound quality and an amp with a higher output. If you join a band or play open mic nights you will probably then be interested in exchanging your mid-range electric and buying the next level. Whether your interest is in Fender guitars or other models, a quick visit to a guitar shop or an online store will soon give you plenty of inspiration.
There are always choices when it comes to guitar shopping. Do you compromise and not break the 1000 pounds barrier? Or do you buy a second hand guitar in the style and model of your choice which can prove to be more affordable? Or, do you look online for a finance deal to help you pay? If this last option is news to you then you should probably take a look online for some great finance deals.
Regardless of whether you are looking for Gibson, ESP, Godin, Ibanez or Fender guitars you can get some great deals to help you take your electric guitar to the next level without going bankrupt. 0% finance deals can vary from 12 to 24 months to help make your dream guitar choice actually affordable.
