Fear of aging is one of the most common fears today. If you are wondering are there any ways you can slow down and minimize the effects time has on you, you can start by changing you eating habits to incorporate more healthy food, and some other delicatessen which are especially beneficial in fight with aging.

Starting from the mind, which has the most important role in keeping quality of life high, you can start the fight by increasing the intake of integral cereals and unsaturated fatty acids. Food which contains the largest amount of beneficial elements are coffee, which according to the latest research, in reasonable quantities helps to maintain high cognitive skills, dark berries, which contain antioxidants which protect against memory loss caused by dementia, and also fish, specially tuna and salmon which are rich in fatty acids, and they help with depression and memory loss caused by age.

Next is the heart, which is known to be susceptible to cholesterol. Cholesterol can be found in food which contains saturated fatty acids, for example, meat and milk products. So it would be a good idea to start decreasing the intake of meals derived from these cuisines. You shouldn't worry and think that with these two food groups all the good stuff goes away, there is still a lot of delicatessen which help you. Food that was said for the brain is also good for the heart, fruits and vegetables, contain fibers and whole range of vitamins. Nuts contain unsaturated fatty acids which protect the heart from diseases. For desert you can have dark chocolate, which is rich with antioxidants. Antioxidants help in regulating high blood pressure and increase the condition of the circulatory system.

All these foods are rich with vitamins and nutrients which will help all other organ systems as well, so you should think about changing your diet and also incorporate exercise in your daily routine for better results.
