As we age, degeneration of the spine sets in, we experience back pain because the cartilage that supports each disc becomes wears out. When the disc bulges, the condition is called a bulging disc also known as slipped disc.
Different back pain symptoms may occur for slipped disc. It depends on the locality of the slipped disc. If the back pain symptoms happen, is because of pressure pressing on the nerve roots.
