This resource is also necessary for human survival considering that without it, individuals will die of dehydration. Having said that, people need to do their part in conserving this resource so that they will continue to have clean water for drinking and other purposes. Numerous methods have been done to save this resource, some of them include reducing household water consumption, rainwater harvesting and waste water treatment.
Industrial Waste Water Treatment is the process of removing contaminants such as dirt, sludge, chemicals, and organisms from the water, so it could become safe for domestic, agricultural and industrial use again. Additionally, waste water treatment also helps governments cut costs as less pollution control projects are needed to be funded.

These biological wastes contain microorganisms and other natural substances that were removed from the waste water. Through heating this organic waste, the natural gas methane is made. This gas can be used as a replacement for non-renewable energy sources like petroleum, fossil fuels, and coal.
Fertiliser production - Any organic matter left from the water treatment method is dried and turned into fertiliser. This organic fertiliser contains vital nutrients that can be utilised for growing household plants and crops. This lowers the usage of chemical fertilisers that can end up harming the nearest body of water.
Economic rewards - Several jobs are made from water waste treatment programs since people like engineers, plant operators, consultants and others are needed for the operation and maintenance of facilities. Other than jobs, tourism is promoted since the environment becomes cleaner.
