What is Sea Moss?

Sea Moss or Irish Moss, is one of several variations of red algae or seaweed. This moss can be found along the Atlantic shorelines in Europe, the Caribbean Islands, and North America.

Throughout history, seaweed has been dried and harvested creating what's called “carrageenan,” a thickening ingredient similar to vegan gelatin. This thickening ingredient has been known for its treatment of inflammation, arthritis, and other illnesses for many years.
