How magicians can control you.

I have to start from the statement, magic and mind control fascinates us. Why? It is quite simple, magicians are very much alike superheroes from our childhood. They can levitate, move cars and overall are immortal. But what always fascinated me most was how they control human behavior so well. That's why I've decided to write this article.
There are many ways to control minds of people and magicians probably use them all. Their work is about being amazing, so they have to make sure people wont spoil their well planned trick. How? They have to make them do what they want. And that's what this article is about, how do they put a spell on audience and participants making them do what they want.
The first thing we think about when we hear phrase mind control is subconscious mind. And this is really good connection, as that is how mentalists do this, by getting in touch with our subliminal part of brain. It can be achieved either by right body language or by sophisticated language patterns that put you into light trance and allow magician to use you like a puppet.
Body movements and posture are often underrated part of human communication. If you will keep in mind that words are barely 7% of what you say, it is obvious that you need to be more than careful about what you say nonverbally.
Also using signs is very popular way to give subliminal data. By making a small picture with your hands or pointing on something you can get through with a message more powerful than 15 minutes of speech.
It is especially liked by so called mentalists as they can make unnoticeable hand movements that send you the right cues. The best body language user I've ever seen is Derren Brown, most of his tricks are based on sneaky subliminal body persuasion.
Language usage is second in hierarchy skill for good mind controller. If you cant smooth talk people this work isn't for you. Magicians use complicated language patterns in order to take control over your behaviors and by subliminal messages make you do what they want.
The thing that strictly connects to language and is 38% of communication content is tone. It is incredibly important. In short if you will remember that body language is 50%, 88% of what people get from your talk aren't words. That is why magicians love this so much, they can occupy your attention with some fluff talk while giving you instructions on subliminal level.
The last thing I would like to mention are patterns. Magicians know your psychology in detail its their work. What are the benefits of it? Best way to understand it is by example. Choose one number between 1 a 4ý do it now. Most people will choose three, does this prove I have unnatural abilities? Of course not but it shows clearly that with statistical knowledge you can be ahead of almost anyone.
Summing it all up, magicians don't have unnatural abilities. Usually they aren't even specially gifted people, they simply understand how you react and know the ways to lead your behavior the way they like. But does this really matter? Just sit back and enjoy the effects.
