Nail biting is in the life of everyone. If you don't bite your nails, I can assure you know someone who does it. "How to stop nail biting" is a question that is frequently in the mind of nail biters, since this is a habit that carries certain social stigma.

Among the various ways and techniques to end nail biting, I have found that the easiest and more straight-forward method is using nail biting creams.

Nail biting creams are nothing more than aids used to repel you from nail biting. These creams are spread on all the nails of the hand and leave a bad taste in your mouth. But great creams don't stop there. They also nurture the nail's surrounding skin which in most cases is heavily damaged by constant biting.

These treatments on how to stop nail biting end your habit with time, you must stick to the cream for as long as it is needed, and well, there is no an average time to this, but it takes usually months. You have to unlearn the habit of putting your fingers in your mouth.

At the same time, while using the creams, it would be a good idea to work on your anxiety levels. Try to find other ways to cope with stress and the path should be much shorter.
