Should Christians work from home? Are there any internet businesses out there that will allow Christians to make a substantial income without compromising their faith? Is it morally right for Christians to make a lot of money? Are there any followers of Christ finding success in the work from home industry? These are all questions that sincere believers should be asking themselves before jumping in to the river of Work From Home.

The paramount question should be, "Will Yahweh ( the God of the Bible, The Mighty One) be honored in my business? Would Christ be comfortable in your office? Or would he have to get up and leave? The answers to those questions will lead you to seek out a business that meets certain criteria, criteria that should be of utmost importance to anybody starting an internet business, but even more so for those who desire to please the Father.

There are thousands of business opportunities out there.... a dazzling array of products from airplanes to vitamins, and an equally diverse selection of business models to choose from. Many of these businesses have set themselves up in the MLM or Multi Level Marketing business model. Others use the Direct Sales approach. Still others use Forced Matrix schemes that promise "free spillover" to your downline. High Speed Binaries, Powerlines, Bonuses. Seekers beware, because only one of these methods really works for the average person.

Back in the '50's, when Amway pioneered the MLM concept, it was a smashing success. This success was based on the concept of people sharing great products with other people. These people would service their customers, and create new distributors from that base. This is the essence of networking. This is the classic example of the business builder, the team builder. Looking back over the decades and billions of dollars, you could say that Amway was awesome or even that it still is. Well if you were one of the folks at the top it would certainly be true. In the 80's it was Herbalife. In the 90's we had Melalueca. Today there are hundreds of companies using the MLM model. Why? Because MLM is quite simply the fastest way to get your products out on the street and converted into cashflow.

Notice that I said YOUR product. If you've got thousands of wide-eyed distributors hungry for success, calling all of their relatives and friends, banging on doors, hosting hotel meetings and cookware parties, not to mention internet marketing, your company is going to move a ton of product. Even if it is priced at twice what it is worth. Sound familiar? The Company is going to make humongous profits. The vast majority of distributors will fail. The fact is, most of these phone-glued-to-the-ear folks are not really sold on their product. They are in the game for the business. They want to make some money. So they eagerly buy into the "you too can get rich" hype, and go full guns. This will last about 60-90 days. They will make about $127. They will get discouraged. They will quit. They will blame their failure on all kinds of things, but the real problem is that the whole thing was built on sand. No foundation.

Bible believers know that anything that is going to last in this world is going to need a solid foundation. The essence of this statement is a spiritual one, but holds true in all areas of human endeavor. This truth is critical in business, and mandatory for the believer who seeks to honor the Creator.

When beginning a foundation it is important to establish your cornerstone. This massive stone will remain as a constant reference point. Indeed the whole building is built around this piece. If you've attempted a networking type of venture before, then you have heard this called your "Why". Why are you going into business in the first place? Your "why" could be any of a number of things.....financial freedom, time freedom, family, vacations, power boats, Italian race cars in your garage. But ask yourself why you desire those things. Is it to provide yourself the flexibility to serve others, or is it to quench your own covetousness? Be careful here. The time to shape your cornerstone is before you have stacked a lot of rocks on top.

A secular humanist may be able to achieve a lavish lifestyle based on a "why" that is all about himself, but the Child of God must consider others as more valuable than himself. That being said, incomes of 6-7 figures per year are achievable when the rest of the building blocks are correctly assembled.

In order to succeed in a highly competitive market, you will need some key ingredients. These elements are: An excellent and valuable product(s), Team support and training, An effective marketing system and strategy, some natural talent, patience, coachability/teachability, some money to work with, and Faith.

Keep in mind, that although the marketplace is competitive, the market itself is of mindboggling proportions. Millions of people every day are searching for products and opportunities. Every 11 seconds somebody has just started a home business! So, let's break it down.
