Some years ago, I attended a 'Sahaja Yoga' meeting and received my self-realisation, which is the awakening of the Divine Motherly Energy, also known as Kundalini. It was a most auspicious, subtle

happening which resulted in my being able to feel a soft cool breeze flowing out of the top of my head (fontanel - which means 'little fountain'). I could also feel the breeze on my hands, and then I started to feel various sensations of tingling and heaviness on my hands. I was told that the self-realisation was my union with God - with the 'all pervading power of Divine Love' the Divine Mother, my resurrection, or yoga - and that the sensations I could feel were as a result of this. I was now able to feel the absolute truth on my own central nervous system. I was feeling the truth about the subtle energy centres within my body - cool indicated the energy centre, or 'chakra', was in a good condition; hot, tingling or heaviness was an indication of a blockage or damage to that particular centre. Each finger or place on the hand corresponded to a particular chakra within the body. Suddenly I had a new awareness, a subtle absolute awareness. I had found the absolute truth!

Each chakra has it's own qualities and looks after specific areas of the body and mind, If we go against those qualities in our daily lives then the chakras become blocked or damaged. If that damage is persistent then ultimately the chakra cannot look after the body on a physical, emotional or mental level and we are then open to getting sick in one way or another, depending on which chakra is affected.

I later read the following passage in the Quran in relation to the day of resurrection. (Sura Yasin - Chapter 36, Verse 65)

" That day shall we set a seal on their mouths but their hands will speak to us, and their feet bear witness to all that they did."

Their hands will speak and they will bear witness to all that they did! There it is, that was exactly what had happened. My hands were speaking and they were bearing witness to everything I had done in my life. Wow!

There is also the reference to feet in the passage, and I discovered that the feet have the same corresponding links to the chakras - the toes, instep and heel - and they also indicate the condition of the chakras.

To believe in the Day of Resurrection is the most important article of faith in Islam. It is in fact, the basis upon which Islam builds it's whole philosophy of life. The advent of resurrection or Qiyamah is more frequently mentioned in the Noble Quran than any other happening.

This day of resurrection has been foretold not only in the Quran but in all the religious texts. It is promised to us all, and it's here now for everyone to achieve, regardless of those man-made differentials we have covered ourselves with (race, nationality, colour, religion, status).
