Relationships can be the greatest gift any one of us can have. But if the person you love becomes your biggest heartache, then how do you find your way back to what brought you together in the first place. Is it possible? I know when we get hurt by someone we love, the break up seems like the worse pain you have ever felt in your entire life. Every song that plays on the radio seems like a constant reminder of the torment you are going through. It often appears as though someone is trying to rub salt into a open wound. Believe it or not, sometimes this horrible pain can become a great teacher and healer, that opens our eyes to what we really want and need.

When any of us has been hurt so deeply, we really don’t seem to be able to look beyond the betrayal. The finger pointing and anger gets out of control and we are often outraged that someone we love would hurt us this way. Forgiveness is not even a option at this point. So what do we all do? We break up and we kick that person out of our life for good. We cry, we can’t eat, we can’t even think. Most of the time we all ask ourselves,

What Happen?

The Healing can only begin when we all realize that we have to forgive in order to move on. Anger has never solved anything and until we are all willing to look at ourselves to see what role we played in this break up, we will never really understand what truly happened.

Not everyone should make up because some people just truly do not belong together. But for those that do and want to make it work, its time to take a good look in the mirror and find out what you could have done differently. Through this process of going deeper than what is obvious, you will discover if you really love someone enough to forgive, then of course they deserve another chance. .

This does not mean to let them come back into your life and never let them forget what they did to you? This means learning to understanding why it happen and to find a way to help each other back to loving and trusting again. If you are willing to meet each others needs and not let egos or pride stand in your way, the strength of the relationship will bond you together with a love that will last.
