It is said doctors interrupt their patients every 18 seconds and spend very little time with them. If you go to a doctor and ask for a constipation diet for preventing constipation, what will you get? Most doctors don't have the time or are not able to tell you what foods relieve constipation. So, if you want to get rid of bloating, constipation, chronic constipation, and stay regular, you're going to have to take charge of your problem.
So how do you take charge? You take charge by using natural methods and remedies. If you use drugs or drugstore laxatives you are looking for health troubles as you age.
It's not your fault you have constipation or chronic constipation. So, why is it not your fault that you have constipation? Well, one reason is, you have constipation because of the foods you eat and diet you follow - a constipation diet. When you were growing up, you learned what, how, and why to eat the way you eat now. This means you were trained how to eat by your parents and how to create constipation.
It is your fault if you allow yourself to continually have constipation, since as an adult you chose your diet plan and you chose to take or abuse un-natural laxatives.
To get rid of constipation short term is easy. If you are constipated, you can clear out your colon with natural laxatives such as herbs, fruits, or vegetables. Keeping your colon healthy long term so that you have regular bowel movements is harder to do.
A constipation diet is one where you don't eat or dink the foods that activate and clear you colon. First, if you don't drink enough water, your stools will be hard and they will have a hard time moving through your colon. So, Drink a glass of water or
natural juice first thing in the morning, before you do any thing else.
Let me ask you, "Do you expect your doctor to help you get rid of constipation or chronic constipation?" And, to tell you what you need to do to keep it from coming back and at the same time tell you how to improve your health. In most cases that will not happen, so here is another remedy for your constipation diet.
Eat more fruits and their juices - eat only fruits and vegetables juces from morning until noon. This helps you to detoxify and eliminate toxin that accumulated during the night. You'll also get more fiber, since fruits are high in fiber. For lunch eat some protein, but make sure you have a raw salad. Then, continue to use fruits and their juices as in between meal snacks. This is an eliminate constipation diet.
Now, one more thing, and this is how to eat protein. If you don't eat vegetables with your protein, this is a big problem and you're going to create constipation. Your protein is going to take a long time going through your colon. The longer protein stays in the colon the more susceptible you are to colon cancer and other colon diseases. Fiber makes yours stools bulkier and this bulk is what activates peristaltic colon action.
So eat smaller protein portions and always eat it with raw vegetables. The vegetables provide fiber to mix in with the digested protein. Don't eat fruit with your meals or as desert, they interfere with your protein digestion. The fewer vegetables you eat, the less frequently you will have bowel movement. Now, this is what your doctor should have told when you ask for a "eliminate constipation diet."
