Basically, people buy furniture expecting it to give a dedicated service for many years. As long as the second-hand furniture is in good repairable shape, you can make it your own by sanding and refinishing, adding some coats of paint or adding faux finishes. Remember, you can buy second-hand furniture and make it as good as brand new furniture. Whereas new furniture is expensive, you can refinish second –hand furniture, whose prices are extremely low to blend in with other pieces of furniture in your room to create a unique interesting look. If selected carefully, second-hand furniture can be both budget-friendly and environment friendly ways to furnish your home and create an un-matched interior décor.
