Critical thinking is a process that takes place in the mind of an individual. Analyzes and evaluates the information, which may be in the form of propositions or statements provided to you as true. But never easy to believe it's true, so think about it, study in depth the reasons and evidence before making their own judgments about the information.
Every day, there's a lot of information that a person can learn. For man and prehistoric animals, this information was considered at first hand. Includes things to see, touch, hear, smell and taste. This provides a first-hand information on access to second-hand information. Second-hand information is another type of information found by the majority of the current generation.
This information is stored in his brain, and later called as souvenirs. When combined with the cognitive, then it becomes a world view. The world can affect any decision you make. Thus, in different ways, that defines your personality. Take note, the information that has developed its world of origin.
The information you've learned is second. Coming from parents, friends, teachers, books, television, or conversation. The vast majority of the information you give him a shelled hard time identifying the original source. You will be challenged by even a single piece of data in his head. Thus, argue vehemently to justify their side. But then, it will be difficult because they have no idea of its original source. Then doubts about whether the information was correct or not, since there is no evidence to corroborate it. However, it is the usual way that is going to defend any challenge in the information they've learned. It is despite its lack of justification.
Compared to the information received by their prehistoric ancestors, the information being given today is very different. Given the mass media has the power to create a virtual lack of harmony between the mind of many people.
Take, for example, some of the ads. It is far from unbiased information yet many people are letting slip their minds. So that will influence future decisions that will change the course of his life. Take care, information today is a matter of a game where the cries immediately tend to believe. If I called you a little information on the longest and highest of the way, you could accept as true, regardless of merit.
This approach seems to be poor. Since all the collage of information in your mind sometimes has no basis at all. Thus, he created the viewpoint could also have a weaker base. No matter how important a point of view of a person, ie, which builds most of the important decisions of life or even a single decision is considered to be developed.
These explanations focus on how critical thinking going on. Critical thinkers gather information from experience, observation, communication, or reasoning. Then, through the incorporation of critical thinking on the information gained, the person can draw intellectual values in the field. Each division studied the accuracy, clarity, accuracy, completeness, impartiality, and the evidence. It is very important because it reduces the risk of believing false ideas that can lead to fatal errors.
Critical thinking does not respond to various situations and topics for the connections between them can be found.
