Health is wealth and it is a resource for everyday life and a well maintained living. In a positive concept, health emphasizes social and personal resources, as well as physical capacities".
Healthcare is one way to prevent, manage and treat illness and the preservation of mental and physical well-being through the services offered by the medical and allied health professions. It is an important concern for everyone how we take care of our body throughout our life makes a big difference in the way we age and the diseases we may suffer.
Preventive Health Care
Enzymes are an important factor in our body's health. Enzymes are biological catalysts, they are vital to such bodily functions as digestion, and they make possible processes to maintain the well-being of our body.
Health care will become a dreaded subject if we do not have the proper help, thus our body cannot assimilate and use the nutrients we feed it.
Some people cannot digest food appropriately and become overweight while others suffer all manner of upper and lower digestive problems due to sedentary lifestyle. As we getting older, we lose our ability to digest properly, which causes more health care problems. So if we eat the right diet and with the right enzymes in our body we become physically, mentally and socially fit, thus our body is out of danger from any diseases.
What Enzymes Do
Enzymes are associated with digestion. Enzymes are substances in the alimentary tract that are necessary for the breakdown of food into simpler stuffs that can be absorbed into the body properly.
A Greek name which means 'in leaven' or yeast their existence and their function came to be recognized during the nineteenth century; They are proteins, synthesized in cells, which act as catalysts, causing all the body's chemical processes to advance with the necessary rapidity and completeness. Enzymes are always present in body cells and fluids, and they are specific - each enzyme is responsible for catalyzing one particular chemical process.
There are different types of digestive enzymes that work on a particular food. Such as amylase or human saliva breaks down carbohydrates, starches and sugars which are prevalent in potatoes, fruits, vegetables. Protease breaks down protein found in meat, eggs, nuts and cheese. And the enzyme lipase breaks down fats found in most dairy products, nuts, oils, and meat.
Proper Nutrition
All living animal and plant cells have enzymes. Life cannot exist without enzymes because they are essential components of every chemical reaction in the body thus they are the primary motivators of all natural biochemical processes. For example, they are the substance that helps to digest food and make it small enough to pass through the gastrointestinal mucosa into the bloodstream..
Many people suffer from a deprivation of nutrition due to lack of good digestion. And also lack of nutrition causes sleep disorders and weight loss or gain and energy loss.
We must keep our body nourished and healthy to maintain healthy skin, good cholesterol levels, good memory, healthy bones and joints. So with the proper diet and good exercise, our body sustains a better digestion in order to maintain normal enzyme levels and the best defense against degenerative diseases.
Good Health Care
Dietary modification and inclusion of food enzyme supplements to enhance digestion and assimilation must be considered as part of any program to restore normal function and relieve symptoms of any disease.
When someone eats healthy foods all their life, their body system will be strong and able to fight off disease and illness. But if you cannot get enough nutrients with the food you eat, enzymes will help spread the right reactions to each part of the body thus different enzymes will work with others to get each job done. Taking a vitamin supplement with enzymes or making an effort to consume more vegetables could make a vital difference in men's and women's health. Vitamins are much less expensive than healthcare nowadays!
Along with vitamins and minerals, enzymes are found in food in its natural way. Raw foods contain the proper types and proportion of enzymes necessary to digest itself. The type (protein, sugar, starch, and fat) and amount (caloric value) of the major components present in the food determine the type and amount of the various enzymes found in the food. Eating raw vegetables such as cauliflower, broccoli, cabbage, Brussels sprouts will provide enzymes and act as cancer blockers. For continuing good health, eating raw vegetables is very important to get rid or prevent variety of health problems.
Everyone Needs Enzymes
Enzymes have a vital role to life. No enzymes...no life... By cooking and baking, we destroy all the digestive enzymes in our food, and thus the body has to draw the necessary enzymes to digest this dead food from the body organs which in turn become unbalanced. The body uses enzymes as its main defense against any bacterial, viral, chemical irritant, or inflammation from a mechanical source. Many agree that proper nutrition is crucial to the maintenance of a healthy body; however, most healthcare practitioners overlook the true cause of many nutritional disorders. It is assumed that digestion occurs automatically and the correction of a nutritional disorder simply requires matching the right nutritional supplement to the condition.
There have been healthcare provider who have treated patients' serious diseases and cancer with diet and enzymes, which show the importance of this factor in our body. So don't neglect the needs of your body. For your own good health care, make sure you do not lack this vital digestive aid because prevention is better than cure.
