Job stress is one of the major problems that the corporate world is facing today. When under severe stress, an individual fails to take clear-cut decisions, reevaluate and reassess the priorities and lifestyles. This can be described as a classic case of burnout. Burnouts often engage in reckless or risk-taking behaviors.

Stressed out employees cannot deliver high performance which is why it is important to reduce the level of stress within the workplace to increase the productivity of employees.

It is important for organizations to hire the right candidates who suit their work environment and requirements otherwise they will end up exerting themselves too far and thus increasing job stress.
