White Reclamation Ltd are delighted to have signed up to ‘WRAP’S, ‘Halving Waste to Landfill’ initiative.
Joining a rich mix of construction companies, contractors, designers, manufacturers and other waste mangers, White Reclamation aim, once again, to demonstrate their commitment to reducing waste to landfill, by helping WRAP achieve targets to half the amount of waste going to landfill by 2012.
Chris Naylon, Commercial Manager, at White Reclamation stated that, "The initiative is a real opportunity for us to demonstrate our commitment in reducing waste, our carbon footprint and also gaining recognition for leadership in delivering good practice."
As part of "The Halving Waste to Landfill" commitment, WRAP have created a specifically designed supportive framework providing a procurement approach and clear measurement guide for subscribers to follow.
Chris stated that, "As we aim to become ‘Nill Landfill’ the initiative will become an integrated part of our own company strategy and will assist with reporting on our progress."
