An exercise routine of at least few minutes is must for a person looking toward a good health and it is all the more important to lower cholesterol levels. The exercise regimen does not even have to be extremely exhaustive. The person can start by taking just half an hour walk, and gradually increasing the intensity and time as per the convenience. This would help the body in expelling the excessive cholesterol that has been getting accumulated in the body. Increase in cholesterol levels would first result in cardiovascular diseases which is the first area that exercising caters to before anything else. Further negligence would lead to heart and blood pressure problems.
- Diet:
Crash dieting is never recommendable in any case, and when talking about handling the cholesterol issues, the best way to naturally lower cholesterol levels is to have food that is healthy and up to the requirement of body; no more, no less. Having balanced diet is one of the best ways of supporting a good exercise routine. Yes, this would mean reducing the intake of fast food and fried dishes, but it does not mean completely boycotting them either. On some occasions you can have such food, but you need to exercise and control your food intake for next few days. Various renditions of balanced diet can be found online but they might not be ideal for everyone. Each person has a different body type and hence would need a customized balanced diet. If a person tries to adopt a generic 'balanced diet', then there is a possibility that it would be counterproductive for the person. Therefore, it is advisable that a person must consult a nutritionist or a dietician to have a proper balanced diet formulated as per the requirement.
