However, when the level of cortisol becomes excess in the body there arises several problems like increased blood pressure, obesity, appearance of sensitive skin, weakness of muscle and many more.

The cortisol blockers help to maintain the body and do not let them grow excessively fat or thin. However, it is better for the body itself to have the normal amount of cortisol. If your body does not get sufficient amount of nutrients from the food that you eat, you will have to replace them with essential supplements. Though the supplements that you take from outside would not exactly replace your balanced diet but they will at least help to give the essential vitamins and minerals which lacks in your diet.

For adequate energy in your body, calories are the most vital part of the sports nutrition. When your intake of calorie is too low, it can create a negative effect on the level of workout and energy in your body. In such times, you may require the intake of the supplements.
The same applies for other kinds of nutrients, vitamins and minerals. Be it carbohydrate or fat or protein, all are necessary parts of sports nutrition and deficiency in any of them will require the intake of the supplements.
