The Atkins diet is basically just a low carb, high protein diet that will allow you to lose weight. Many people believe this diet is unhealthy, but the truth is it is not. If you are getting your protein from bacon and other such foods then it will be bad for you. But if you get your protein from lean meat, beans, and other such foods you will be fine
Burning fats without carbohydrates creates byproducts known as ketones. Ketones build up in the bloodstream and create a state called ketosis. In a state of ketosis, many people find that they have a decreased appetite. High protein diets low carbohydrate stores create a state of ketosis. Prolonged ketosis can cause depletion of mineral stores in the body. It can also cause the body to create uric acid, a risk factor for gout and kidney stones.Say for example, you eat 1200 calories of fruit daily,-which is very good for the fat burning and filtering organs in your body. Now,if you suddenly you reduce it by 500 calories...what is the result? deprivation.
As you develop a new awareness about food, the next thing to consider is adopting a diet that involves calorie reduction. This can be achieved through high nutrition shakes coupled with a balanced meal. You can obtain weight loss quickly by reducing calorie intake and exercising. The high nutrition shakes should be able to include a sensible percentage of the nutrition that the body needs. Your high nutrition shakes should contain ingredients like organic sourced vitamins and minerals, balanced fats, protein, and carbohydrates, essential fatty acids, and under-natured whey protein. These ingredients provide complete nutrients for your body. More so, they reduce calorie, which make you lose weight fast.The constituents of the food are very important when it is all about body building. The ratio of protein, carbohydrate and fat should be optimum in the meals. The ideal amounts are 40% of protein and carbohydrate and only 20% of fat. If your food is lacking in any one of them you will face a different problem for that. Deficiency of carbohydrate leads to lower energy level and lack of protein results in excessive fat deposition with less muscles.
Some bodybuilders make a big mistake by completely eliminating carbohydrate from their diet. This can give rise to many other problems like energy loss, fatigue etc. which are not desired at all. So make sure you have fat and carbohydrate both in the diet chart so that the body building diet provides a complete health solution apart from generating muscle mass.
