Getting Virginia Beach Government Jobs

Who does not want employment with the government? There is money, social sanction and security. But in recent years, it has become very difficult to get government jobs. If you are a resident of Virginia Beach, then you know that there is a scarcity of jobs. But did you know that there are a lot of government jobs that are waiting just for you to snatch at them?

U.S Army Band Musician
Are you a musician? The army then, is a good place to begin your career. This provides a lucrative and exciting career for any talented musician. You get to work with computers, assist physicians in different army jobs. But in being a U.S Army band musician you have to specialize in either the tuba or trombone or euphonium.
You can also specialize in bassoon, electric bass guitar, saxophone, the piccolo or flute, clarinet, oboe, percussion, French horn, keyboard, guitar, the trumpet or cornet. It is enough to specialize in any one of these musical instruments.
You need a Basic Training of 9 weeks where the basic skills of soldiering are taught. In addition, twenty four weeks of Advanced Individual Training is required at the Armed Forces School of Music in Norfolk, VA.
Armorer
If you are seeking employment with the Virginia Beach Government, it might not be such a bad idea to go for the position of an armorer. The Leader for the International Security Services has a position available for this job.
A career as an armorer would take you as part of the Static Guard Force Project to different countries such as Afghanistan and Kabul. For this you must be certified though. If you are looking for an exciting career in the fields, then this is one career you should not miss out on. But to apply for this job, you need to be a U.S citizen and have a valid passport.
You must have prior military experience and active clearance. At least a minimum of three years of experience is also a requirement. You have to be Remington and FN certified. You should be able to communicate excellently in verbal and written language. You also need to be able to solve complicated problems.
These are two of the most fantastic employment opportunities available with the Virginia Beach Government. If you are looking for employment with the government and live in Virginia, then you can very well try out for these two. Though these are with the army, they provide a lot of exciting employment opportunities and are very coveted.
