Giant artificial trees can be used both indoors and outdoors. These trees are typically custom made but there are stock trees made that are as tall as 16’.  Giant Artificial Trees are used in both home and commercial settings, however, because of their size, they are best suited for larger spaces.

Indoor Giant artificial trees are very popular at Christmas season. These artificial trees include firs, spruces and pines. The most sought after trees are typically 12 feet to 15 feet in height but trees can be ordered up to 44’ tall. The taller the tree the higher the cost. In settings where people might hand or climb the tree, a structural artificial tree is needed. These can be quite expensive and require a foundation.

Giant artificial trees are not limited to Christmas trees. There are many varieties of giant artificial silk trees which can be used any time of the year. The most common of these are the Black Olive, Ficus and Bamboo. Flowering Trees are also quite popular.

Bamboo plants more expensive because they will have multiple trunks to look authentic. Is an easy to use specimen that are very elegant. Because they are usually taller than they are wide, they suit many interior spaces.

Standard Ficus trees are typically available in 10 foot, 12 foot and 14 foot versions. The limiting factors are usually in the width. It is difficult to have a tree that has a width greater than 10’ without adding structural support. This is why bamboo Trees are so popular. Most trees are made with tall natural stems and thick artificial foliage. This makes them ideal for use in room corners and offices.

 

Giant artificial trees can also be used outdoors, either for home or commercial projects. Most exterior trees that are not Christmas trees are custom made. They are made with materials that are better protected against UV rays and weather. Many interior plants are used outdoors but they will have a much shorter life and they will be effected by sunlight and weather.

Structural artificial trees can range from 12 feet to 80 feet in height and have to be made with heavy duty metal structures to increase stabilization. They are typically built on a steel frame and the fronds are treated to minimize fading from sun damage. These giant artificial trees can be quite expensive.

The advantages of using giant artificial trees over live trees are numerous. The trees require less maintenance and no water resources. Giant Artificial trees allow owners to get the green colors without the hassle of caring for a live plant.
