Twelve days of intermingled travel and work allowed me to meet many wonderful individuals, whose presence and conversations, once again reminded me about the power of the mind. You absolutely need to see the relationship between your inner and outer world. This will assist you in forming new habits, on your journey to creating wealth, health, and joy.

Your thoughts are everything! If you could fully comprehend the absolute power they hold, you would never let yourself have a negative or destructive thought again. Being a holistic being, where everything touches everything, your thoughts impact your life far more than you will ever know. You see the process of manifesting in your life is as follows: thoughts lead to feelings, feelings lead to beliefs, beliefs lead to actions, which lead to our results.

Your level of income is a result!

Your state of health is a result!

Your relationships are a result!

Firstly, we live in a world of cause and effect. The lack of health, the lack of love, the lack of employment, or the lack of money is not the real problem. Those things are merely symptoms of our thoughts, feelings, and actions, or in many cases lack of action. The results in our life are merely a print out of what is happening in our inner world. Life was never meant to be a struggle and any degree to which you feel unhappy means you are disconnected from your source energy. Becoming aware of what is not working is the first element necessary for change.

Secondly we need to understand where our beliefs and conditioning have come from. For most of us, our primary sources of beliefs have come from parents, authority figures, church, and friends. Each person must figure out which beliefs have helped him or her, and which have hindered. Then you need to discard what is not serving you.

Our greatest obstacle is "What we believe we know - that in fact is just not so."

Examples of this could be:

"My parents were never wealthy, I can't be either."

"Creating wealth is difficult."

"I am too old to start a home business."

"I am not smart enough, not good looking enough, not capable enough."

"It's too much work to engage in personal development and change."

The world is full of people who want to blame others for their lot in life, yet that is the very thing that keeps them from their inner power and it robs them of their energy. When would NOW be a good time to stop being driven by your past? Your power resides in this moment, and in what you choose to do this minute.

The mind's job is actually to protect you and it wants to keep you in your comfort zone, (which in reality is frequently not very comfortable at all). When you start doing something different, your mind will come up with all sorts of excuses and all sorts of ways to keep you from changing. Here is a Tip: When your mind comes up with negative comments and stories - simply say "Thank you for sharing" and move on from there. Do not start regretting the past or do not get sad. Instead, take one more step in the new direction you have chosen for yourself.

If you spoke to your friends like your mind speaks to you - would they be your friends?

We can compare the areas in our life to the 5 wheels on a truck. Each of the four tires represents one of the four quadrants: the mental, the physical, the emotional and the spiritual. The fifth wheel being the steering wheel - the one You guide. If any of the wheels are a little deflated, you do not travel with as much ease - gas efficiency goes down. If more than one wheel is severely deflated you start to have real problems rolling along.

Your current actions are based on two kinds of habits that you possess; the things you do and the things you do not do. "At first we create our habits and then our habits create us. Habits are like submarines they run deep and quiet within us." At first the chains of our habits are too light to be felt and then they feel to heavy to change.

Know that people who succeed in wealth creation, and in all areas of their life are no better than you. They have simply formed productive habits and followed them consistently. Over time, these practices have allowed them to achieve their desired results. As I am currently learning through a dear friend and mentor, "Success is not so much what we start doing but rather what we stop doing." Look at what is currently not working for you and STOP doing it.

For example:

Avoid making excuses.

Avoid spending valuable time watching TV.

Avoid staying up too late and going on little sleep.

Avoid hanging around people who are negative and suck your energy.

Reconditioning is the third element needed for change. All healing is letting go of the past, and "forgiveness" is giving up all hope for a better yesterday.

If we turn to nature it offers many clues. A tree, a plant, a flower that is not growing is actually dying. It is the same with people - if we are not continuously growing, learning, and engaged in personal development we are in the process of dying.

In our hectic life we often tend to look only at what is on the outside - the results or symptoms - and attempt to work only on what is visible. Yet the invisible, or the roots of our being, that which we cannot touch, in this case our thoughts, count far more. First we have the roots and then the fruit - just like nature.

If you want different fruit/results in your life, look at the roots (thoughts, beliefs and feelings) and change them, one step at a time. The universe is kind, caring, and it is there to support you. However, You need to let it know that you are willing and start taking the first steps.

"To turn disease, misery, failure and sickness into joy, health and prosperity one must think, speak and act in reverse than most people think, speak and act. Ask yourself- Do I have the courage to practice the law of reversal?" - James Ray

This is not an easy practice as our environment and culture tries to keep us stuck in our old ways. The first step is to decide to move forward towards what you want. Constantly immerse yourself in what brings you strength and avoid all that weakens you.

By putting a very simple system in place for yourself, you can start steering your life in a new direction. Systems work because, once in place, you do not have to think. Start by cleaning your mind. Then choose what it is you want to achieve first. Stop all that is hindering you from that goal or intention. Select a few small doable steps and form new habits. It is more important to spend 30 minutes every day in your network marketing business in order to form a new habit that will lead you to wealth creation, than it is to work 3 hours one day a week.

Next, twice a day, state to yourself statements that support your new intentions:

"I make phone calls 5 days a week to prospective clients."

"I am getting healthier and wealthier every day."

"I engage in personal development on a regular basis."

"I choose to mastermind."

"I increase my level of courage every day."

Small practices acted upon consistently will have a great impact.

The biggest lie people tell themselves is that self-defeating behaviors aren't going to cost them anything... they always do.

When you consistently combine personal development with the right network marketing opportunity, you will create wealth!
