Conserving energy — No energy is spent in cooking the food. Therefore natural resources and energy is preserved.

Raw food diet practitioners claim that a raw food diet is healthier than conventional diets. Before going on a raw food diet, it is very important to consult a good conventional doctor or nutritionist and find out if one needs to change one’s diet. Consuming some food items raw while having most food items cooked can be one way of ensuring that one gets the right amount of all the essential nutrients.
